I really love the Tom Hiddleston fandom, probably more so than I did before. And I’m part of this fandom! I just discovered that there is a tag dedicated to Tom Hiddleston’s hands… THAT is dedication!

Consider each fandom as one big family. Families typically love each other, but there are times when we disagree, get angry, irritate each other. BUT,in the end, we are all part of the same group. We are all part of a fandom for the same cause - the love of that fandom, be it a book, movie TV show, whatever. We learn to coexist with one another. Yes, we have different opinions on characters, shipping, etc., but that’s what makes each fandom so interesting. Disagreements will always be around, but we don’t have to be angry with one another. Everyone has their own opinion, and that’s okay.
So let’s all stick together through the disagreements. We don’t have to agree on everything, but we can get along with one another. I know we can! And, in the end, we’ll all be able to enjoy the book, TV show, movie, or whatever our fandom comes from because we were able to put our differences behind us.
And I’ve thought of something.
Not only do the writers use traditional fairy tales, they also incorporate major literary figures such as Pinocchio, Gepetto, and Frankenstein.
I wonder if the next group of characters that they could introduce could be from The Princess Bride. They could write an interesting twist to Westley, Buttercup, Inigo, Fezzik, and everyone else’s stories.
Oh, I forgot about that! Thanks for the answer. By the way, I love your blog! So, in the process of waiting for Thor 2 news, I’ve been going over the movie and a few of the comics that have Malekith and Kurse in them and I just considered something that could be very interesting.
In the comics, Malekith was after the Casket of Ancient Winters. Think back to the movie Thor….
He used it to freeze the bifrost energy in place, that’s why it was cold in there during their battle and there was that big frozen tree thing in the center. The Casket was freezing the energy of the bifrost, and so the Casket was lost when the observatory went down into the void. Probably destroyed. It was definitely not still with Loki when he fell.

Loki took the Casket and used it to freeze Heimdall. However, he used magic to conjure it up. Then he “magic-ed” it away.
Now did he put it back where it was normally kept, or did he have it on his person the whole time? Could he have just shrunk it?
Probably not really important.I just think that, if it was on him the whole time, when he fell through the vortex, what would happen to the Casket? Could that be a little storyline on its own? I’m sure though, that if Loki kept it with him and it stayed with him even after his fall, he would have used that in his plans to take over Earth.
